All of my products are either entirely or partly made from upcycled fabric. What does that mean? It means fabric scraps from larger projects that were destined for the landfill, have been saved and have a second purpose. Did you know that the U.S. generates an average of 25 billion pounds of textile waste every year? That's about 82 pounds per U.S. resident!

Why “The Mauka”?: Mauka and his mom have a very special connection to their home of Hawaii, and to nature. They wanted a bandana that reminded them of their favorite place in the world.
